Brandi’s 17-year career in education began at Taylor ISD. She was a classroom teacher for 10 years. Before coming to Liberty Hill ISD, she was an assistant principal at Main Street Intermediate School in Taylor ISD. She also served as an assistant principal at three schools in Liberty Hill ISD; Liberty Hill Junior High, Liberty Hill High School and most recently, Santa Rita Elementary School. She earned her master’s in administration from Concordia University and her bachelors degree in elementary education from Angelo State University.
Brandi is goal oriented and loves helping students focus on learning by maintaining discipline and equipping teachers with successful classroom management and strategies. As a skilled relationship builder, Brandi enjoys building relationships with her students, their families, campus and district staff, and community members. “I am beyond excited to be the principal of Tierra Rosa Elementary,” said Pennington. “I love the Liberty Hill community and I am so blessed to work here, to continue to build champions, and develop the vision for this campus.”
Brandi grew up in Round Rock and was born to be a teacher. She loved elementary school as a child and she would come home and “teach” her family what she had learned. From that point on she knew that she had a love for teaching. She loves the family atmosphere in LHISD and the strong partnerships we have across the district and community. Her husband of 18 years, Jameson, is the director of adult probation for Williamson County. For fun, Brandi and her family love to travel, listen to music and play card games. They also enjoy supporting their National Honor Society highschooler, Jason, by watching him play football and lacrosse, as well as spending time with their two dogs: Rex and Cork!
